Emergency Contraception

"The Morning After Pill"

Emergency Contraception Pills (ECP)can prevent pregnancy after sex. Consider using ECPs if:

  • you are sexually assaulted
  • you did not use contraception during sex
  • your contraception didn't work.

ECPs are available in our student Health Center for a fee. Go to Health Services for more information.

Emergency contraception is also now available at pharmacies without a prescription.

Please consider getting medical treatment after an assault, even if you do not want to press charges. If you are 18 years of age or older, medical services are confidential.
